According to British Sky News, in the early morning of September 11, local time, the Pentagon hoisted a huge American flag to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the “911 Incident.”
The Pentagon was one of the three locations where the hijacked plane crashed in the September 11 incident in 2001. Approximately 189 people were killed in the crash, including military personnel and civilians.
