Gas: EU-Norway agreement for more supplies and price cuts

The EU and Norway will intensify cooperation to increase short and long-term gas supplies with the aim of lowering prices. This is what is stated in a memorandum of understanding signed by the executive vice president of the European Commission Frans Timmermans, by the energy commissioner Kadri Simson and by the Norwegian minister of oil and energy Terje Aasland.
