41 new women now accuse psychoanalyst and television man Gérard Miller of rape and sexual assault, in “Elle” magazine. These testimonies come after the publication of the first three cases.
Three women accuse Laurent Ruquier’s columnist of rapes and fifteen of sexual assaults occurring between 1993 and 2020. The others, including several minors at the time of the alleged events, speak of attempts. Gérard Miller took to social networks to react to these new accusations.
“While indicating that throughout my life I have had a large number of encounters, attractions or adventures, both with women of my age and with younger women, while recognizing that it was obvious today for me, but not at the time, that there could sometimes have been between younger women and me, given my status as a “man of power”, an asymmetry which would now seem prohibitive to me, I From the outset, I clarified that I always ensured the consent of the women I was able to meet and rejected in the most categorical way any sexual assault and, even more so, any rape,” adds Gérard Miller.
He concluded his speech as follows: “These clarifications made, it is impossible for me in these circumstances to respond to such accusations in conditions that are dignified and respectful of the speech and rights of each and everyone.”
