Alleged Police Officials in Civilian Clothes Steal Identity Card in Aragua

Alleged police officials dressed in civilian clothes and driving a vehicle without license plates have been accused of stealing the identity card of an innocent young woman in the state of Aragua. The incident occurred in the Montaña Fresca sector of Maracay, prompting questions about the legality of the procedure.

Communicator Jesús Medina Ezaine took to his X account to question the alleged police procedure after being contacted by the complainants. According to the reporter, the armed civilians not only took the young woman’s ID but also apprehended two other men, which is illegal.

In a recording captured with her cell phone, the young woman can be seen demanding her identification document, but the men refused to hand it over before fleeing the scene in a Toyota Corolla model vehicle. Medina Ezaine shared the video on social media, expressing his disgust for the actions of the alleged police officials.

The incident has sparked outrage and concerns about the behavior of law enforcement officials in the area. Authorities have yet to respond to the allegations, leaving the public questioning the legitimacy of the alleged police procedure.
