BERLIN – The Swedish political crisis is becoming increasingly difficult, complicated and dangerous for stability and peace in the Great North and in the West. The premier, disheartened last week, Stefan Löfven officially resigned but placing harsh conditions on the president of the Riksdag (unicameral parliament) Andreas Norlén, of the Moderaterna (Conservatives). He asks him to give someone – in theory Löfven himself, or the leader of the main conservative Moderaterna party, Ulf Kristofferson – a new majority.
