Great Britain inaugurates the American-style digital visa for study, tourism and work

LONDON. “Digitizing borders”. This is the watchword with which the British government announces something new for anyone traveling to this country for tourism, study or work: the introduction of a digital visa, similar to the one already in place for years to enter the United States. Another important change brought about by Brexit.

Named Eta, acronym for Electronic Travel Authorization (Electronic Travel Authorization), also phonetically resembles the analogous American digital document, called Esta (Electronic System for Travel Authorization).
