Great Britain, Tory MP stabbed to death in Essex

A Tory majority MP who supports Boris Johnson’s British government, 69-year-old David Amess, died after being assaulted by a stranger and repeatedly stabbed in Essex, south of England.

Amess was attacked today October 15 inside a Methodist church, during a meeting with his constituents in his own college. The motive for the attack is investigated.

The news of Amess’s death was given by the Essex police. Law enforcement officials also stated that no other individual is sought in connection with the murder after the arrest was made.

According to Sky News, an air ambulance was waiting outside the building where the injured deputy was staying. Paramedics tried for a long time to stabilize his condition and then resuscitate him, but without success.
