Held in Mexico, the Supreme Court sanctions the right to abortion

With a ruling considered historic, Mexico opens the way towards the full decriminalization of abortion and aligns the country among the most advanced in terms of civil rights. The Supreme Court reports the country, unanimously approved the application of the statutory requirements for voluntary termination that are currently followed in only 4 of the 32 states. An uneven action that created unequal treatment and discrimination on which the most conservative sectors of the great North American country rely.
