Honduras President Juan Orlando Hernández and his wife and members of the delegation took United Airlines flight UA-871 to Taiwan and arrived at Taoyuan International Airport at 7:40 pm on November 12th. After getting off the plane, he stepped into the state guest room, waved to the on-site personnel and the media, and then left with personnel from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of China.

At the invitation of the Government of the Republic of China, accompanied by Foreign Minister Lisandro Rosales and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Yenandez led a delegation to visit Taiwan from November 12 to 14. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that President Yenández and his wife will meet with President Tsai during their visit to Taiwan, congratulate each other on the 80th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Taiwan and Hong Kong, and accept a banquet from President Tsai; President Yenández will also witness Foreign Minister Rosales’ acceptance of the ROC government Awarded the “Great Saucer King Star Medal”, participated in the welcome dinner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, visited the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) country office in Taiwan, etc.
President Yenández’s trip is the fourth time he has visited Taiwan. He visited Taiwan in July 2015 and October 2016 as President of Hong Guoguo, and he visited Taiwan as Chairman of Hong Guoguo with his wife in September 2010. .
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the members of the delegation included Ricardo Cardona and his wife, Secretary General of the Hongguo Presidential Office, Luis Mata and his wife, Minister of Finance, and Sandra Castillo, Minister of Information of the Presidential Office.
