Before the Hong Kong High Court, Andy Li, 30, admitted yesterday that he took part in a plot with the media mogul Jimmy Lai and to other people to “promote international sanctions against Beijing and the city government”. Li pleaded guilty to the crime of “collusion with foreign forces”, under the new national security law imposed by China on the former British colony on June 30 last year.
