As a result of the investigation so far, data corrections have been found for 4,215 marine engines and 146 land-use engines such as power generators and railway vehicles. Of these, 2,169 and 134, respectively, met the fuel efficiency figures stated in the specifications submitted to customers, while 2,046 and 12 did not.

The company is currently examining the impact on its business performance, and will promptly announce if it is expected to have an impact based on future investigation results. A special investigation committee will be established consisting mainly of external experts to investigate the cause and formulate measures to prevent recurrence.
