In the war on Covid-19, China appeals to “vaccinated little warriors”

While the rest of the world is committed to vaccinating adults in the face of the threat posed by a new variant of the coronavirus, China has embarked on an ambitious campaign that should better protect the country from Covid-19: the complete vaccination of 160 million very young by the end of the year.

The campaign – complete with red flower-shaped stickers, balloons and toys for the “vaccinated little warriors” as nurses call the children who receive the vaccine – got off to a flying start.
