MOGADISCIO – The Somali president Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed “Farmajo” on Monday he announced the suspension of the prime minister Mohamed Hussein Roble following a dispute over the long-postponed elections in this unstable country in the Horn of Africa and recurring tensions between the two.

“The president has decided to suspend Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble and to end his powers due to his ties to corruption,” the president’s office said in a statement, accusing the prime minister of interfering in a investigation into a case of land grabbing.
