“These are difficult days”. We meet Rafael Mariano Grossidirector general of the International Atomic Energy Agency (Aiea) in a Roman hotel: he is in the capital for a FAO summit on food safety, but the difficulties he refers to are staged thousands of kilometers further east, in the Ukrainian Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant occupied by the Russian military.
