Iran, Raisi: “Yes to nuclear negotiations only if the US removes the sanctions”

TEHERAN – Iran will go ahead in the Vienna negotiations because it is in its “national interests” to return to the nuclear deal, but only if the United States “removes the sanctions and we can verify that this is really the case”. The new president of Iran Ebrahim Raisi, who still remains head of the judiciary having not yet formally resigned, holds his first press conference in the Shahid Beheshti building, the club of judiciary employees, north of Tehran.
