Iran, UN investigation into repression: “14,000 arrested”.  Cell footballer

With an unprecedented decision in the history of relations between the United Nations and the Islamic Republic of Iranyesterday the UN human rights council approved by a large majority the launch of an independent international investigation into the repression that has been going on for more than two months in the country, where a transversal pro-democracy movement is demanding civil and political liberties, and a radical change of the theocratic political system.
