Israel-PNA, first high-level meeting in a decade: Abu Mazen and Gantz face to face

Jerusalem. Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz and Palestinian National Authority (PNA) President Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen) met tonight in Ramallah. This is the first official high-level meeting between the parties in a decade. Former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu last met Abu Mazen in 2010 and in 2013 then President Shimon Peres had an interview with his Palestinian counterpart.
