In less than 10 months, 2021 marks an unfortunate milestone for Israel: there are already 100 victims of the crime that is rampant in Arab-Israeli society, perhaps the main challenge of the government led by the premier since June Naftali Bennett. The eradication of the plague that is claiming victims relentlessly among Arab citizens is the electoral promise with which Mansour Abbas, leader of the Islamic Ra’am party, has gained entry into the most heterogeneous coalition in the country’s history, ranging from the nationalist right to the progressive left and including, for the first time, an Arab party.
