Israeli Arabs, the new powder keg is the home front

TEL AVIV – The incumbent Israeli government, together with its military security apparatus, maintains the previous administration’s approach towards Iran, arguing that with its nuclear ambitions and support offered to terrorists, Tehran constitutes the main threat to the existence of Israel. But among the country’s officials, military leaders, politicians and general public opinion there is growing concern about developments on another front, at an early stage but rapidly evolving: the tension between Israeli Arabs.
