Italy-USA, Draghi meets Kerry: collaboration for commitment on climate and decarbonisation

The meeting between the Prime Minister lasted just under an hour this morning Mario Draghi, and the US President’s Special Envoy for Climate, John F. Kerry. During the meeting – according to Palazzo Chigi – the importance of close collaboration between Italy and the United States was discussed in order to effectively tackle the climate emergency and the challenge of decarbonisation in all multilateral forums, starting with the G7 , the G20 and the COP26, and to seize the opportunities offered by the ecological transition.
