According to the Securities Times, CCTV News quoted Kyodo News on June 2. Statistics from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare of Japan show that the number of applications (initial value) for minimum living security in Japan in 2020 is 228081, an increase of 5,039 over the previous year ( 2.3%), mainly due to the long-term continued deterioration of the employment situation due to the new crown epidemic. After the Lehman crisis, the number of applications for subsistence allowances in Japan in 2009 hit a record high (349,223), and the number of applications for subsistence allowances has shown an upward trend again in the past 11 years. The Japanese government plans to start a new system of up to 300,000 yen in three months for families who have not met the requirements for subsistence allowances but have financial difficulties.
