Reporting from NDTV, Tuesday, February 13 2024, the interview was conducted two days before the special adviser’s report, which described Biden as someone who was old and forgetful.

Special counsel Robert Hur investigates Biden’s handling of classified documents. He said that Biden should not face charges, and would be seen by the (election) jury as an elderly man who meant well but had a bad memory.

The White House hit back hard at the report, stating that Hur interviewed Biden while he was under intense pressure the day after Hamas’ attack on Israel on October 7.

Harris has played an increasingly prominent role in Biden’s campaign, focusing on topics including abortion.

Meanwhile, ahead of the November vote, Biden and Harris are expected to face a rematch with former president Donald Trump.

Republicans often target Harris and polls show the former California senator has low levels of support, like Biden himself.
