PARIS – There is a sensational case of homonymy behind the arrest of the Saudi stopped at Roissy airport on suspicion of being a member of the commando involved in the murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi. The man presented on boarding a passport with the name Khaled Aedh Al-Otaibi, the same one that appears in an Interpol red notice. Based on the arrest warrant issued by Turkey, where Khashoggi was killed in 2018, the border police then stopped the passenger who was about to board a flight to Riyadh.
