[EpochTimesOctober192021](Epoch Times reporter Tong Yijia comprehensive report) Malaysian singer-songwriter Huang Mingzhi invited Australian Chinese female Chen Fangyu to sing the Chinese song “Glass Heart”, in which the lyrics and MV are all accused of sarcasm The “little pink” of the CCP. Although the song disappeared one day after being on the mainland and the Weibo accounts of the two singers were blocked, the popularity of the song among Chinese people around the world was soaring. Since it was published on YouTube on the 15th, it exceeded 5 million views in just three days. (Click to watch the video)

In the MV of “Glass Heart”, the singer’s costumes, props, and scene arrangement are all filled with pink. Huang Mingzhi introduced the song when he published the song on his YouTube channel: “This is a romantic and sweet love song full of pink, please be careful with the glass heart patient…”

The beginning of the song imitates two quarreling lovers and sings: “What you say, you never want to hear, but you go out to fight back, don’t understand, where is it insulting you? I always feel that the world is your enemy.” “You said I belong to you, don’t escape, go home quickly.” “Nothing less, let you win, unreasonable. You want me to explain the inseparable relationship, but also care for your fragile glass.”

Next, the song sang: “You have a pink and pure heart, love kittens, dogs, bats and civets. Be obedient and stop climbing walls. Grandpa will miss you again when he knows.”

Between several main songs, the chorus of “Glass Heart” sang repeatedly: “I’m sorry, I hurt you and hurt your feelings. I heard a voice, it was the broken glass heart; I’m sorry, it’s because I was too self-willed. The truth is always sad, maybe it shouldn’t be too straightforward, I am so sorry, I am so sorry, I am so sorry, and I am so sorry.” The artistic conception of the lyrics seems to keep returning to the dialogue between quarreling couples.

In the MV screen with the lyrics, there is also a pink panda dancing with the plot, flaunting the battle flag, and marching around. Since the various characteristics of the “little pink” presented in the song are all available, many netizens interpreted that these elements clearly pointed to the “little pink”.

One day after the new song went live, the works of Huang Mingzhi and Chen Fangyu were completely removed from the shelves or banned from the mainland audio-visual platforms “QQ Music”, “Netease Music Cloud”, “Kouwo Music”, and “Tencent Video”. The new Weibo account specially opened for “Glass Heart” was blocked, and the Weibo that Chen Fangyu had stopped updating was also blocked. However, since “Glass Heart” was uploaded to the YouTube platform on the 15th, the number of views on the first day reached 1 million, more than 4 million in two days, and so far has exceeded 5 million in three days.

When someone reposted it in Taiwan’s Hong Kong star Du Wenze, he left a message: “Simplified Chinese subtitles are very intimate!” To netizens, he said “good”, and he also called “really”.

Huang Mingzhi, who has always been daring to speak, often expresses political views in a humorous style. In August of this year, he published “Eight Tips for the Taliban” on Weibo. The discerning person knew at a glance that this was an insinuation that the Taliban is exactly the same as the totalitarian rule of the CCP. As a result, as soon as the post was published, his Weibo account was quickly blocked.

Regarding the heated discussion about the new song, Huang Mingzhi said that when the other party was not mentioned half a word, the other party felt that they were being scolded every word. It might really be a “glass heart”.
