LONDON. Boris Johnson sent his representatives to Qatar to deal with the Taliban following the withdrawal of American forces and their allies, including British troops, from Kabul. The most immediate objective of the negotiation is to obtain guarantees that the new Afghan government will allow the expatriation of a few hundred UK citizens remaining on its territory and a larger number of Afghans who, having worked for London for the past twenty years, they have obtained a visa to immigrate.
