MEXICO CITY. A fire fight between law enforcement officers and members of an unspecified criminal gang in Texcaltitlán, in the Mexican state of México, resulted in a death toll of 11 people, seven arrested and four injured, including three police officers.
The newspaper writes it today The Sun of Toluca. The clash, the newspaper specifies, took place in the morning when a department integrated by agents of three different law enforcement agencies was preparing to execute an arrest warrant in the locality of Palo Amarillo. Upon arrival, however, numerous shots were fired from a building by people who then tried to escape in vehicles, chased by agents.
The chase ended in an area where there were other people belonging to the criminal gang who engaged the agents in a firefight from which, however, they came out defeated.
