According to information from Mexico’s National Immigration Agency, this group of immigrants included 455 men and 145 women, each from 12 countries, most of which came from Central and South America. Among this group of immigrants, there were children and pregnant women.
The Veracruz State Police stated that such an alarming number of immigrants had never been intercepted in a container, and the investigation of the incident is still ongoing.
