Miss Israel now lives in Dubai: the story of Rana Raslan

JERUSALEM – Rana Raslan is an Israeli Arab citizen born in a poor neighborhood of Haifa. Its beauty has taken it far from the slums of the city, but no one would have imagined how far away. In 1999, Rana made history when she was crowned Miss Israel, the first (and so far only) Arab Muslim to be awarded the title of the most beautiful in the country.
