Myanmar, 15 people drown while trying to reach temple for religious celebration

At least fifteen people drowned in Myanmar while walking along a flooded path to go to the Kyeik Hne pagoda, the destination of thousands of faithful during the Buddhist celebrations of these days.

Rescuers report this, according to which three people are still missing.

The temple is located on a rock surrounded by water three kilometers from the coast, near the town of Thanbyuzayat, in the state of Mon.
