Myanmar, army cars on demonstrators: 5 killed

YANGON – Five protesters in Yangon were killed by a Burmese army car that lashed out at a group of people peacefully protesting against the military dictatorship. Reuters reported. “They had increased their speed as they approached the demonstrators, it was as if they had hit them – a local journalist told France Presse – then the soldiers jumped out of the car and started shooting”.
