A fire, caused by a Molotov cocktail, broke out in the party headquarters of the former Burmese leader Aung San Suu Kyi in Yangon, the largest city in the country. This was announced by a party leader. Burma is going through a bloody crisis following the military coup on 1 February that deposed the Nobel Peace Prize.
Since then, some deputies of the National League for Democracy, Aung San Suu Kyi fanatic, have been living in hiding and the party offices in Yangon are occupied only by a few employees. The arson attack would have been carried out around 4 in the morning (local time).
