Myanmar: over 500 dead in repression following the February 1 coup

More than 500 people were killed in the violent crackdown following the February 1 coup in Myanmar. This was stated by a local monitoring group.

The Association of Assistance for Political Prisoners said it had confirmed a total of 510 civilian deaths, but warned that the true toll is likely to be much higher.
