North Korea fires 130 bullets: some end up in the maritime border area with the South

BEIJING – Classic scheme that of Kim Jong-un: The South kicks off military exercises around the peninsula with US troops and Pyongyang responds, firing more than 130 artillery shells into the sea. Some of which ended up in the buffer zone not far from maritime border between the two Koreas.

“The enemy should immediately cease military actions that cause tensions to escalate,” said a North Korean army spokesman quoted by state news agency KCNA.
