North Korea, the Yongbyon reactor is back in operation. IAEA alarm

by admin

BEIJING. The Yongbyon nuclear reactor appears to be back in operation. The alarm was launched in a report by the United Nations Atomic Energy Agency (Aiea) which writes how the North Korean reactor has been discharging cooling water since July, thus suggesting that it is operational. The agency has no longer been present in the hermit kingdom since 2009, when it was expelled from the country, but relies on satellite imagery and South Korean intelligence sources.
