Oscar Pistorius, the South African Paralympic champion sentenced to 13 and a half years in prison for the murder of his fiancée Reeva Steenkamp, could leave prison by obtaining parole for good behavior and serving the rest of his sentence under house arrest. But the judges’ decision largely depends on a meeting between Pistorius and the victim’s parents that could take place in the next few days.
