Channel 1’s producer in Russia, Marina Ovsyannikova, who had raised an anti-war banner by breaking into the Kremlin state TV channel, Channel 1, and whose full speech La Stampa reported, spoke to Reuters and said: I am extremely concerned for my safety. But in her first televised interview after the extraordinary protest aired on Channel One on Monday evening, Ovsyannikova also stated “I’m not going to flee Russia, I hope I don’t face criminal charges.”

Ovsyannikova also said he hoped her protest against the war in Ukraine was not in vain and that the Russians would open their eyes to propaganda.
