Pandemic effect, America running out of ketchup

After toilet paper, flour, disinfectants now the United States is short of ketchup. Like hot cakes, writes the Wall Street Journal, especially the single-dose sachets, since with restaurants open only for take-away food or for home delivery it is no longer possible to use the condiment in bottles at the tables. The numbers increase further when it comes to domestic consumption, in that sector sales exceeded one billion dollars in 2020, equal to 15 percent more than in 2019.
