PARIS – Rumba, politics and violence. The prefect of the capital was forced to take an extraordinary measure to avoid clashes in the Congolese diaspora living in France. The prefecture has in fact decided to cancel the concert of the popular Congolese artist Werrason scheduled for last Saturday at the Zenith auditorium. Official reason cited in the ordinance: “The concert presents serious risks for public order and for the safety of the spectators”.
