VATICAN CITY – Everything will depend on who will be the next president of the Italian bishops. In May, the assembly of the CEI will elect the successor of Cardinal Gualtiero Bassetti and according to which name will come out, it will be understood whether even in Italy it will be possible to start from above a work of analysis of the work of the bishops with regard to cases of sexual abuse of minors committed by priests or not.
