[Epoch Times August 20, 2021](Epoch Times reporter Lin Zirong reported) On August 15, after Taliban militants occupied Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, many Afghan people were also eager to flee during the U.S. military’s evacuation process. They scrambled to flee. Boarded a US military transport plane. On the 15th, a U.S. C-17 transport plane carried up to about 640 people.

On the 15th, a US C-17 Globemaster III (C-17 Globemaster III) transport plane was preparing to withdraw from Kabul, Afghanistan, and was expected to fly to Qatar. Many Afghan people who wanted to flee had already been waiting at the airport. When the C-17 opened the cabin door, a large number of people poured into the plane. The U.S. military did not stop it, but instead let them board. The U.S. crew initially estimated that there were about 800 passengers, but after arriving at the destination, the number was revised to 640. The original design of the C-17 was to carry 134 soldiers and equipment.

On the 16th, US soldiers were on guard at Kabul Airport during the evacuation of US troops.

On the 19th, there were still some Afghan people waiting in line at Kabul Airport, preparing to board a US military plane to leave Afghanistan. The plane carried a small number of people, it was not crowded, and there was some space for soldiers to walk.
