Poland, President Duda refuses to enact the gag law for the media

BERLIN – An internal confrontation about politics towards the media in Poland opens unexpectedly. The young head of state, Andrzej Duda, also elected thanks to the PiS majority party, refuses to promulgate in its current form the law desired by the government and voted by the Sejm (the lower house of Parliament) to remove the license from news TV free and private TVN24, owned by the American Discovery group.
