The Pope and other religious leaders will pray for Lebanon at the Vatican on July 1. After reciting the Three Bell Sutras, the pope invited the believers to pray for it.
(Vatican News Network)Pope Francis once again appealed to Lebanon after reciting the Three Bells at the feast of the Apostles of St. Peter and St. Paul on June 29. The Pope and other religious leaders in Lebanon will pray, talk and reflect on Lebanon’s future together at the Vatican on July 1.
The Pope said, “The day after tomorrow, July 1st, there will be a Day of Prayer and Reflection for Lebanon in the Vatican. Together with other religious leaders in this Cedar country, I let the words of the Bible inspire us: “Lord God’s heart The plan is a peaceful plan’” (Jeremiah 29:11).
“I invite everyone to pray with us spiritually. May Lebanon recover from the serious crisis it is going through and once again show the world her face of peace and hope.”
