Paris Saint Germain continues its neat trend in French League. Les Parisiens just beat Lille 3-1.

Playing at the Parc des Princes, Paris, Sunday (11/2/2024) early morning WIB, PSG fell behind first, Yusuf Yazici broke through their goal in the 6th minute.

The hosts only responded four minutes later. Goncalo Ramos was able to equalize the score after turning Ousmane Dembele’s pass into a goal. Position 1-1.



A draw put PSG back in control of the game. Several opportunities were presented through Ramos and Dembele, but they did not produce results.

PSG then got a goal through their own goal. Alexsandro Ribeiro’s mistake gave the hosts a 2-1 lead in the 17th minute.

PSG dominated after that. Asensio, Ramos and Dembele are still a threat to Lille’s defense, with the three of them diligently threatening. However, no additional goals were scored. The 2-1 score lasted until the break.

In the second half, domination continued Paris Saint Germain. Luis Enrique’s team is still giving their opponents trouble.

A number of opportunities were obtained through Asensio, Nordi Mukiele, and Randal Kolo Muani. Meanwhile, Lille can occasionally press, but does not pose a significant threat to their opponents.

This was proven when PSG was able to get their third goal. In the 80th minute, Kolo Muani increased the lead to 3-1, after continuing Bradley Barcola’s pass. The 3-1 score lasted until the end.

Victory makes Paris Saint Germain unstoppable at the top of the French League standings. PSG still leads with 50 points from 21 matches, 11 points ahead of Nice, the second ranked team. Temporary Lille stuck in fourth position with 35 points.
