[New Tang Dynasty Beijing time September 25, 2021]North Korea has recently tested missiles several times, causing dissatisfaction in the international community. The US military stationed in South Korea has recently conducted a rare exercise of “beheading Kim Jong-un” and released many photos. South Korean public opinion believes that the US military’s move is a warning to Kim Jong Un.

The U.S. House of Representatives passed the National Defense Authorization Act for the Fiscal Year 2022 (FY 2022 NDAA) on September 22, which calls North Korea a “rogue country.” Condemned North Korea for violating United Nations resolutions by continuing to develop small nuclear warheads, tactical nuclear weapons, and various weapons and equipment such as missiles, nuclear-powered submarines, and hypersonic gliding vehicles (HGV).

On September 25, the Korean media “Chosun Ilbo” reported that on the 22nd, the US Special Operations Command (SOCKOR) in South Korea rarely released multiple photos of the “beheading of Kim Jong Un” exercise. These photos were taken by the US military in South Korea during a recent exercise.

On September 13, the US special forces responsible for the beheading of the leader of the al-Qaeda terrorist organization Osama bin Laden conducted a beheading exercise at the Pyeongtaek base in South Korea.

According to the report, during the decapitation exercise, the US military dispatched core combat capabilities such as the Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) and conducted night infiltration missions and other training.

US military personnel conducted exercises such as infiltrating major facilities, guided bombing, and performing aviation missions behind enemy lines, and dispatched C-130J transport aircraft, MH-60 anti-submarine helicopters and other equipment.

The Chosun Ilbo analyzed that the exercise was regarded as a warning to North Korea for launching missiles.

Two days before the US military in South Korea made public the “beheading” exercise footage, from September 11th to 12th, North Korea successively launched a new type of cruise missile.

On the 15th, North Korea launched two more short-range ballistic missiles. The photos released by North Korean state media showed that the missiles were launched from a train. North Korea claims that these missiles can cause “cruel multiple strikes.”

North Korea’s provocation was immediately condemned by the United States and Japan, and South Korea also stepped up its defense posture.

Just a few hours after North Korea launched the missile, South Korea tested the first ballistic missile launched by a submarine, making South Korea the seventh country in the world with submarine-launched ballistic missile technology.

South Korean President Moon Jae-in personally observed South Korea’s missile test. He said that the South Korean army has the ability to respond to North Korea’s provocations at any time.
