Renault Trucks Italia will be the protagonist at the next Transpotec 2024 show, which will be held at the Rho (MI) exhibition center from 8 to 11 May. The company will present seven vehicles on display in pavilion 22, stand A11, offering numerous innovations, some of which are an absolute preview for the Italian market.

Among the most anticipated previews are the two 100% electric heavy-duty vehicles, specially designed for regional transport: the E-Tech T and the E-Tech C. These vehicles cover a wide range of applications, from urban construction to regional distribution. Thanks to their versatility, they can adapt to any bodywork model, offering three types of power take-off (PTO): electric, electromechanical or on the gearbox. This paves the way for the decarbonisation of new sectors of urban and regional activity.

With a permissible gross vehicle mass of up to 44 tonnes, the Renault Trucks E-Tech T and C are available in various configurations, including 4×2 and 6×2 tractors. Furthermore, they are available in 4×2, 6×2 and 8×4 tridem tractor versions (C E-Tech only), with different cab options and eleven wheelbases to choose from, from 3,900 to 6,700 mm.

The Renault Trucks E-Tech T and C can be equipped with two or three electric motors, developing a combined power of up to 490 kW (660 HP). To meet customers’ autonomy needs, they can be equipped with four to six lithium-ion battery packs, with capacities from 390 to 540 kWh. Charging can take place in alternating current (AC) up to 43 kW, or in direct current (DC) up to 250 kW. These vehicles are capable of traveling up to 300 km on a full charge and up to 500 km with an intermediate fast charge.

Furthermore, for customers who operate in urban centres, Renault Trucks will present the 100% electric version of the Trafic, the compact van ideal for the urban transport and distribution of goods.
