Right to abortion, the US Supreme Court will vote to revoke it

The Supreme Court will vote to overturn its 1973 decision which established the right to abortion in the United States. This was revealed by the US newspaper Politico, who obtained an exclusive draft written by Judge Samuel Alito on the opinion of the majority of essays circulated within the court.
The document is a “total and decisive” repudiation of the historic 1973 ruling (Roe vs Wade) which guaranteed federal constitutional protection of abortion rights and a subsequent 1992 decision – Planned Parenthood vs Casey – which largely maintained the right. “Roe was terribly wrong from the start,” writes Alito, adding in the document: “We believe the Roe and Casey judgments should be overturned,” he writes in the document, labeled “Court Opinion.” “It is time to listen to the Constitution and return the issue of abortion to the elected representatives of the people”.
