Sashenka, our little angel is already in heaven. Today his soul has found peace », she wrote. For several weeks there was a real mobilization to look for the little one, Ukrainian celebrities also joined the search.

Sasha was in the company of her grandmother in the Vyshhorod district when the attacks by the Russian army began. People were stranded due to bombed bridges and roads blocked by troops. During the evacuation across the Dnipro River, one of the boats did not reach the river and Sasha was on one of them. The grandmother was also previously found dead. The baby’s mother immediately set out in a desperate search for her son, even spreading an appeal. Alexander (Sasha) Zdanovich Yahno was 4 years old, born on March 4, 2018. He disappeared on March 10 while on the run from the Kiev region, along with six other people and two dogs. The boat had been found, the child was the only one wearing a life jacket.
