Three people killed and more than a dozen injured in Russian bombings, Ukrainian authorities say

Three people were killed and at least 18 injured by Russian bombings in several regions of Ukraine over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian authorities said Wednesday.

Oleh Sniehubov, head of the Kharkiv region’s military administration, said two people were killed and at least one wounded after about 20 areas in the region came under Russian artillery and mortar fire.

“An enemy kamikaze drone crashed into a civilian car in the village of Petropavlivka” in the Kupiansk district around 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Sniehubov said, killing two men who were agricultural workers.

In the Donetsk region, one person was killed in the town of Kostyantynivka, the head of the region’s military administration, Vadym Filashkin, said.

Six people were injured in the city of Kramatorsk as a result of Russian missiles and 12 high-rise buildings were damaged, Filashkin said.

“In total, the Russians fired 19 times on settlements in the Donetsk region over the last day. 122 people were evacuated from the front, including 23 children,” he said.

In the Kherson region, four people were injured, according to regional military chief Oleksandr Prokudin.

“Over the last day, the enemy carried out 47 attacks, firing 159 projectiles, using artillery, mortars, tanks and unmanned aerial vehicles,” he said. Russian forces fired 27 projectiles at the city of Kherson, he said.
