SCANIA At Transpotec 2024 with innovative solutions for more sustainable and connected transport – Companies

Scania will participate in Transpotec 2024, the prestigious international transport and logistics trade fair to be held at Fiera Milano from 8 to 11 May 2024. In pavilion 18P, stand H36 M53, Scania will present innovative solutions for more sustainable and connected transport, focusing on efficiency, safety and digitalisation.

At the center of Scania’s attention is efficiency, present in every solution in its exposed portfolio. From maintenance and repair services to connectivity, from the e-mobility range to internal combustion vehicles. In particular, recent updates to the 16 and 13 liter truck models offer energy efficiency and fuel savings, with a significant reduction in CO2 emissions, positioning itself as an industry leader.

Companies like Chiggiato have recognized these qualities, recalling the 100th Scania for temperature-controlled transport. Featuring a 16-liter V8 engine with 660 HP and 3,300 Nm of torque, this vehicle adopts the same components as the Super powertrain, highlighting Scania’s modular approach. The company recognizes the importance of reducing CO2 emissions by promoting the use of fuels from renewable sources.

The efficiency of a Scania vehicle is not limited to high-quality hardware, but also benefits from intelligent software linked to connectivity and safety services. Scania Smart Dash is the new digital interface for the driver that improves concentration and productivity, offering an unprecedented driving experience and vehicle control.

Scania recognizes the uniqueness of each customer’s needs and digitalisation is key in this context. Thanks to data collected from over 630,000 connected vehicles globally, Scania is able to provide advanced analytics and personalized services to maximize uptime and optimize customers’ business. For example, with the Fleet Care service, in 2023 customers saved 9,200 man hours thanks to the intervention of Scania Italia’s Fleet Managers on over 800 vehicles, guaranteeing the best conditions for each vehicle through collaboration with the Network workshops.
