For the ninth day in a row, Serbs in Leposavic are peacefully protesting. About ten KFOR vehicles and two armored vehicles of the “special unit of the Kosovo Police” are on the plateau in front of the local self-government building. However, the “Workers’ Sports Games 2023″ organized by the Serbs started yesterday, and today members of the American KFOR took part in them.

“Workers’ sports games” have traditionally been held in Leposavic for more than 45 years. Today’s program included tug-of-war, football, chess and volleyball. The participants of the games were joined at one point in the tug-of-war discipline by members of the American KFOR contingent.

As a reminder, KFOR members removed the barbed wire around noon yesterday as a sign of the de-escalation of the situation in Zvečan. This confirms the fact, which has been pointed out since the beginning, that the Serbs and KFOR do not have a problem on the ground, but that the problem is Kurti’s special forces.

We have examples of good relations between Serbs and members of KFOR almost every day. That’s how the Greek member of the KFOR mission signed the T-shirts of the graduates in Zvečan. On the occasion of the Holy Trinity holiday, a boy presented woven wreaths of grass to members of KFOR, and they received the gifts and reciprocated the boy by giving him sweets.

The Serbs also offered them coffee and sweets.
